i've start from 25 laps (why because before this i never swim non stop in one hour). and evaluate till 62 laps( just once) normally i make 50+_ laps.. unbelievable but if u really wanna it..u will have it.. with some study at youtube. for beginner.. the secret is just keep swim without ignoring how many laps u will do..the most important dont touch the pool floor within 20 min, then 30 min, then 45 min, then 1 hour .

Kapas Marang international Swimathon 2013.
It was my first time joining the Kapas Marang Swimathon. Congratulation to all participants, it does not matter whether you reached final or whether you are not, because what matter most is the courage that you hold for the race. I started with a slow run towards the water, this continues until the beginning of my first stroke. As for me I used to start my swim by relaxing my stroke while enjoying the serene fascinating view of the deep and the clean crystal-clear water with the bubbles surrounds produced by the other swimmers. To get started, navigate myself to the right till i am between of the buoy and the fishing boat that is on my right. While seeing the other swimmers going over me, I got motivated and felt the adrenaline of challenge, with that will I swam faster and going over them. At this period of time i will feel a constant 9 to 10 strokes before sighting, (alternatively by doing 6 or 7 constant stroke is sufficient before sighting). In maintaining my endurance, the speed must be controlled and do play safe as my goal is to reach the final, not to get exhausted before that. Sometimes, while sighting the water surface look higher than the land. As they said we can see the mountain as target when sighting, but the truth hilarious it's possible to see a mountain when i am at the middle of the distance. While swimming, somehow i can see the next buoy that will look like a ping pong ball and sometimes you might be confused whethe
r it is a buoy or it is the head of the other swimmer (swimming cap). The pressure arises when i felt that i'am going straight to the buoy while i'm not. My navigation feels like a zigzag. What they said was rather true, on the current direction‟ changes for this year, because I didn't even realize it while swimming. Without having any pit stop at any of the kayak nearby I looked around and saw few of the other swimmers relaxing themselves at the side of the kayak. At this time I am enjoying myself by feeling easy and relaxed. Approximately 4km to 5km, thirst and was a bit hungry. Even so I can't see any kayak nearby to provide me with water, the mission continues even I started to feel alone not to mention that my finger toe started to cramp. One buoy to another buoy; I am getting slower even though I thought that I didn‟t reduce my speed. I was a bit confused because it was too long after I throttled for a while when the sighting seems the same and I feel that it was too hard to reach the next buoy. All of sudden, I felt that my left finger toe cramped and there it started (the pain). I was trying to relax myself up and swam by using the other leg while my left leg dragging the water and make me uncomfortable; “never mind I am just getting through it-(monologue to myself)” and at last the cramp gone and I continue to swim but in a more relax way. [Nose discomfort] Did anyone of you felt the pain at the tip of nose while exhaling inside the water? That was what I experienced after 5km of swimming, I don't know what the cause was but it's really disturbing, and nevertheless I need to keep up with the pain as I need to finish this. On the other side, there was someone calling me and he is Latif Fuzi, my swim buddy during the open water swimming series in PD. [Last 2 buoy fighting against currents and on coming tidal flow] Wow it was really near but yet I was too slow, it felts like hell for me to just reach a next buoy and so I was feeling thirst. I saw Latif Fuzi was struggling due to the same circumstances on the other side and without even realize there was a boat nearby and we call them and immediately asking for water and we were hanging by the boat for the water in less than 5 minute; Fuhhh! it‟s such a relief when I got to quench my thirst. [Last buoy against current and on coming tidal flow + wave] The swims continued but it felt like I am not moving. By hook or by crook increasing the speed is necessary as it comes together with the risk that I am going to cramp again. Struggling with the waves that were becoming more aggressive and finally and the end of my sight I could saw the sand. I tried to stand but not yet to reach the ground, I swam again until my leg touches the ground and the water level is now up to my chest and to the final point I was walking in the water with the wave along with me
